Itinerary
You will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha and driven to Materuni Village, a journey of about two hours. Upon arrival, you will take a guided hike through the lush hills to reach Materuni Waterfalls. The hike takes around 45 minutes and offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape. After enjoying the waterfalls and perhaps taking a dip in the cool waters, you will visit a local coffee farm. Here, you’ll learn about the traditional methods of coffee cultivation and roasting, followed by a tasting of freshly brewed coffee. Afterward, enjoy a traditional Chagga lunch before heading back to Arusha in the afternoon.
