Itinerary

Upon landing at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK), our safari representative will warmly welcome you. They will then escort you to your Arusha accommodation. Rest for the night at The Charity Hotel, a serene retreat nestled in the city's outskirts. Its charming garden provides a tranquil atmosphere as you prepare for your exciting safari ahead.

Post-breakfast, we set out for Tarangire National Park, named after the Tarangire River coursing through it. This vital water source sustains regional wildlife during the dry season, fostering dense vegetation like elephant grass and acacia woodlands. The park is renowned for its elephant gatherings by the river, accompanied by giraffes, bushbucks, and hartebeests. Predators like lions and leopards shadow these creatures. Tarangire boasts an unmatched variety of breeding bird species. Witness these majestic creatures, from endearing calves to formidable bulls, in their natural Tarangire habitat. Following lunch, we journey to Ngorongoro Highlands, where the Fig Tree Lodge awaits for dinner and a restful overnight stay.

At sunrise, we commence our journey to the Western Serengeti, accompanied by zebra, eland, and gazelle congregating in the Western Corridor below the Grumeti River. Pursued by lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas, and confronted by colossal Nile crocodiles, many brave the river crossing, while others opt for alternate routes. This dynamic scene unfolds against an endless sky, an enchanting experience that shifts one's perception of humanity's place in the grand theater of the animal kingdom. Following lunch and an extensive game drive, we retreat to our tented partner lodges for the night. You'll relish two nights in the taji guest house immersing yourself in its captivating wonders.

Following breakfast, we continue our drive through the captivating Serengeti National Park. Later, we journey to the remarkable Ngorongoro Crater. The sight of the crater is akin to stumbling upon a forgotten realm – an untouched expanse of sweeping savannah, dotted with acacia groves and shimmering lakes, sheltered within towering volcanic walls. This awe-inspiring crater emerged from a colossal volcanic eruption millions of years ago, boasting both geological marvels and a haven for some of Africa's densest large mammal populations. The endangered black rhino occasionally graces the open grasslands, making the crater an ideal sighting location. After a satisfying lunch and extensive exploration within the crater, we head to our comfortable partner budget lodges at camping T for dinner and a restful overnight stay.

After breakfast, embark on a brief drive to Lake Manyara National Park for exhilarating game viewing. The journey begins with spotting expansive baboon troupes. This park was established with a specific focus on safeguarding its renowned elephant herds, ensuring an exceptional wildlife encounter. While elephants take the spotlight, the park is equally famous for its unique tree-climbing lions. The alkaline waters of Lake Manyara host a vibrant birdlife, highlighted by thousands of pink flamingos that create a colorful spectacle against the lake's mineral backdrop. Even those less inclined toward bird-watching, will find themselves captivated by the park's avian diversity. A packed lunch awaits at a picturesque picnic site.

Today, you will have a town tour of the Cultural Heritage Museum, the Tanzanite Market and the Maasai Market. Our guide will then drop you off at the airport.
